Date rape is a major legal and social issue in Australia. Studies have shown that girls between age 15 and 19 are most at risk of being sexually assaulted, but are also the least likely to report it. Unlike violent rape, drug facilitated sexual assault is a terrifying blank in women's minds - 12 hours that just disappear. In this program we not only meet women who are still battling to recover from this nightmare scenario, but also meet the people who are on their side, trying to help them heal and achieve justice. This is an informative look at what can be a life-shattering event from the psychological, physical and legal perspectives.
