Description

Taking a scientific look at the effect of alcohol on young people's brains, the young presenter has a scan done on her own brain, then compares it with scans from the brains of other teenagers who drink alcohol regularly. The ground-breaking studies highlighted in the program dramatically connect long term brain damage to teenage drinking. Students learn why alcohol seems to affect younger brains more profoundly than older ones, both in short term and long term, impairing memory, coordination and motivation.
