Schools are taking the lead in our response to climate change. In this program we witness the many innovative programs in six NSW primary and secondary schools that are aiming to tackle climate change and educate the future generations who will face its major impacts. We see what's happening in the playground, in the classroom and in the buildings themselves as we examine the benefits of water tanks, solar pv cells, vegetable gardens, worm farms, recycle depots, and even windmills. This is an intimate look at the changes that have been driven by teachers, principals and parents who have encouraged their students to think and act creatively and to monitor their ecological footprint. A must see for all educators, students and families.
