Description

The true nature of photons is still subject to research and speculation. It is safe to say however that the world is made up of wave-particles; atoms, neutrons, electrons, photons and other particles which exhibit both wave and particle behaviour. In this program we have chosen to ignore the particle nature of photons, however, compelling evidence for the tranverse wave nature of light does not disprove the particle nature of light. Topics include: * Generation of photons of light; * Photons polarised/polarized at right angles; * Conductors reflect and insulators transmit; * Velocity and polarization in a crystal; * Polaroid film, how it works; * Polarization by partial reflection; * Polarization of sky, haze, milk in water and * Between crossed polaroids, sugar, cellophane, tooth, plastic under stress, LCD, and puzzles.
