Description

This program examines the differences which affect physical performance in sport. Two key areas are covered - gender difference and trained versus untrained individuals. A number of indicators and factors surrounding gender differences are examined, including anatomy and muscle development - especially during puberty and adolescence; oxygen and blood flow, VO2 maximum, heart rate, cardiac output and stroke volume. In trained vs untrained individuals, areas including the performance of the cardiovascular system and oxygen and blood are covered.
