Around the world in indigenous communities, shamans, healers and priests minister to the spiritual, mental and physical health of their people. Though they may never have been to medical school, these healers have studied plants that treat disease, as well as the ceremonies and philosophies that create good health. In this program, Minnie Mace, a respected Kalkadoon Aboriginal elder, uses ancient aboriginal wisdom to heal her community. Samantha Martin is another champion of her aboriginal heritage. Born in the Kimberley bushlands, she teaches traditional dance and artwork. This is an enlightening look at indigenous tradition and knowledge alive in Australia today.
