Description

This program shows experiments involving food tests for fats and oils, starch, reducing sugars and protein. It also covers the parts of the digestive system looking at both form and function. Digestive enzymes are then examined. More experiments are shown with amylase and protease at various pHs and relates this to conditions in the digestive system. Finally, an experiment with lipase and bile salts to determine the optimum conditions for fat digestion is demonstrated.
