Description

The program begins with the anthropological definition of applied anthropology; that this field of study refers to the application of method and theory to the analysis and solution of practical problems and that it can be used, or 'applied'. Within the four sub-disciplines of anthropology: physical (or biological), cultural, linguistic and archaeological. Examples of anthropologists and their work in all four fields are showcased. In general, this program gives very clear and varied examples of where applied anthropology is used in the workforce, how flexible the field is, and how it fits within the subfields of anthropology.
